Serendipity

I love serendipity. I love that I forgot to make a credit card payment and when I called to pay it, they told me that they were waiving late fees this month saving me $37. That I was stuck on a word playing a crossword on my I-pad and got up to get more tea and came back to find the correct letters had somehow filled in. That I forgot to buy peanuts at the grocery store for a recipe I was making that night and found a package of them in my desk drawer. That I missed the office mail run and a postman just happened to need a signature for a package and as a result he took my letter with him back to the post office. And I love that the person in front of me in the Starbucks drive-thru bought my Americano. That was just this week.

I could chalk these occurrences up to fortunate coincidences. After all, how important is a package of peanuts? (Only when you really need them for the Thai dish—right?) But I know these experiences are not random, they are evidence of universal support.

Is it magic? That’s one word for it. Call it kismet or providence. One thing is certain, there is an invisible force out there that knows even my smallest desires and seeks to deliver them to me. When it happens, I have only one word for it: miracle.

Sound intriguing? There are a few secrets I’ve learned though. To manifest a miracle you must first have a clear, true desire—one unadulterated by doubt or limitations. A pure, focused desire is one the universe, as well as your spirit guardians and angels, can work with. There’s more. When you acknowledge the little miracles, more will follow and in time they will get bigger. And if you can learn to appreciate them, the universe will respond in ways that you cannot chalk up to coincidence.
